Our CSR, Courtney, invited her father, Jeff Medeiros, to lead a fire safety training day for our team. Jeff has been a firefighter in Fall River, MA, for over 30 years.
Jeff visited the clinic and spent time with the staff teaching everyone about general fire safety, the different types of fires, various extinguishers, and how to properly use a fire extinguisher. Each employee had the opportunity to PASS (pull, aim, squeeze, and sweep) a fire extinguisher.
The staff reviewed which types of fires are safe to put out with a fire extinguisher, a safe meeting space in the event of a building evacuation, and basic emergency protocols.
